It's not that complicated to get the screen resolution in Visual Basic language. If you're good with math, you can probably figure out the resolution in pixels too... but what about the area of the screen which is already occupied by toolbars? Not so easy any more is it? This component gives you the dimensions of the desktop AND the available area of the desktop (areas unoccupied by toolbars) by co-ordinate. Remember that people sometimes double or even triple the height of their toolbars.
